‘Dhoni’ is the first movie for Prakash Raj in Tamil as movie director. He has already focused a movie in Kannada (remake of ‘Abhiyum Naanum’). ‘Dhoni’ is created as a multilingual movie – Tamil and Telugu.
The movie talks about the variations that happen between a dad and son in determining the son’s profession. The son wants to become a cricketer, a gamer like Mahendra Singh Dhoni but dad wants him to engage in MBA.
Prakash Raj performs the dad and Telugu movie director Puri Jagannath’s son Akash Puri performs the son. Radhika Apte, Brahmanandham, Nasser, Murali Sharma and Thalaivasal Vijay are doing important jobs in the movie.
Cricketer Leader Mahendra Singh Dhoni is doing a little overall look in the movie. Prabhu Deva, who is a companion of Prakash Raj, is also showing in a cameo part.
Prakash Raj has also published the tale, script and dialogues for the movie.
‘Isaignani’ Ilayaraja is credit reviewing the songs. K V Guhan is managing the camera. Kishore is looking after modifying of the movie.
